Production Supervisor
Assists Manufacturing management personnel by compiling and recording production data to prepare records and reports on volume of production, raw material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
Reports To
Manufacturing Manager
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to the following):
Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications and individual work production sheets.
Calculates factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and work and department production rates.
Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
Ensure efficient production coverage by assessing availability of appropriate Team members (e.g. daily staffing, vacation calendars, training matrix, etc.) and notify Team managers of conflicts as needed.
Type and distribute, upon review and approval, departmental correspondence reports, forms, memos, and projects from notes or drafts.
Maintain an environment to promote efficiency and positive employee relations to production operators.
Charts production based on statistics compiled, for reference by production and management personnel.
Reviews and monitors for accuracy timesheets and attendance records
Maintains supervisory files including electronic EAN transactions, labor, production and quality reports.
Complete work within appropriate timeframe in order to prevent backlog.
Assist Team Members or other members of the organization with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
Assist in the orientation / training of new Team Members
Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow Team Members and members of management.
Assist other Team members in the performance of their assignments

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Education and/or Experience
High School education or GED equivalent required with Associates degree in business preferred.
Requirements
Computer literacy required: Microsoft Office, Spreadsheet, PowerPoint and Database software.
Knowledge of the basic principles of Accounting desired.
Demonstrated ability to communicate orally or in written form with co-workers, departments, Supervision, customers, and vendors as required.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures and ability to reference them from appropriate books, manuals, databases, etc.
Ensure that Production Operations are operated in an efficient and cost effective manner by adhering to Company Attendance polices.
Knowledge of manufacturing terminology as demonstrated by work experience or education.
Ability to work in high traffic area while maintaining confidentiality

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
