Job Summary

Performs technical procedures to obtain diagnostic exams of various portions of the body using recognized CT protocols and standards to assist physicians in diagnosis of diseases and injuries with a minimum of ionizing radiation being applied. Exhibits the values F.I.R.S.T. (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).

Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort

Works in a well-lighted, ventilated and air conditioned area. Works in a radiation exposure area. Often exposed to unpleasant odors, sights and sounds. Long periods in a stationary position or moving around the unit are required. Risks exposure to disease, infection and physical strain and assault. Risks exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently. A flexible work schedule is required.

Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents

Education:
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technologists.




Experience:
Must have a KY State License and ARRT certification.



Equipment Used/Special Skills Required:
Ability to operate radiation exposure equipment and computers.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Techs. Must maintain current KY Radiation Operators License.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
