Work under the guidance of experienced plumbers to learn the trade, including installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
Assist in handling and organizing materials, pipes, fittings, and fixtures needed for plumbing work.
Helping in preparing work areas by cleaning, removing debris, and setting up equipment as directed.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, learning how to work safely and responsibly on job sites.
Engage actively in learning about plumbing codes, techniques, and materials through on-the-job training and any provided educational opportunities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and insurable driving history Experience or education in plumbing Written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work in all types of weather Ability to use tools of the trades, including but not limited to plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels, and screwdrivers Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
