00/hour starting pay v No CDL required Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining a professional positive work attitude towards the Agency, customers, and field/office work environment.
This includes always maintaining a professional image and leading by example.
Maintain continuity of deviated fixed route bus schedule.
Maintain accurate, legible, and complete records and submit on a timely basis.
Always maintain order on vehicle, reporting any unsafe, unruly, or disruptive behavior.
Communicate all transit activities to Leadership Team as instructed per BUS and Agency policies.
Assist all passengers using proper techniques in a safe, courteous, professional, and friendly manner.
Assist all persons with mobility devices as defined by the ADA/DOT.
Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of vehicle.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Qualifications:
GED or equivalent preferred Cellular telephone is REQUIRED; internet access is REQUIRED, including a valid email address.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math skills.
Excellent time management abilities.
Must be physically capable:
Assisting passengers, extended periods of sitting, repetitive movements (bending, stooping, climbing stairs).
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Must have five (5) years of safe driving experience, reliable transportation, valid KY driver's license, proof of insurance, and pass criminal background check and alcohol/drug screening.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) NOT required.
