Major Responsibilities General ledger familiarity Assist with month-end and year-end financial close and account reconciliation Assist with Fixed Assets records/control Track depreciation Journal Entries Assist internal audits of accounts Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash monitoring Assist with financial reporting for local and corporate management Support Inventory Control Assist with state and federal tax reporting Familiar with Sales/Use Tax Liability Assist with internal & external audits Educational requirements Minimum - Associates degree in accounting or finance Other skills and experience Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in general accounting Proficiency in MS Office software suite and internet Knowledge of MAX/MRP accounting software or comparable applications Broad knowledge of accounting methods, principles & practices Position reports to Senior Accountant Salary:
