Job Designation The Sr. Program Manager/Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all activities necessary to ensure the successful completion of assigned program within established objectives. Oversees program lifecycle and ensures results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, scheduling and cost projection. Partners with all internal functions responsible for product design, production, delivery and support of product(s) assigned. When required, works with customers to ensure satisfaction and promotes customer relationships with Meggitt. Job Core Responsibilities o Oversees program and manages all activities necessary to meet business goals and objectives and delivers a defined scope of work to agreed cost and timeframe. o Develops detailed program plans; including budget, resource allocation and program communication and reports project performance (milestones and budget adherence). o Consolidates product requirements and develops relevant documents for internal and external use. o Develops ROI analyses, opportunity business plans and product development road maps based on specific customer service requirements. o Provides leadership to the assigned resources and Integrated Product Team to achieve project objectives. o Manages project risks and issues, escalating to the Project Sponsor when necessary. o Coordinates and leads gate reviews. o Works within the defined project charter plan including budget, schedule and resource constraints. o Other responsibilities as assigned. Job Specifications Education:
Bachelor degree required--Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or other technical field preferred Years'
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required in New Product Introduction, Project Management, Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or Operations Engineering Skills:
o Understanding of financial, product development, operational functions and key business drivers. o Demonstrated experience working and managing teams in a multi-discipline matrix environment required o Ability to work independently and interface with cross-functional disciplines; excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion o Excellent project management skills for successful project delivery required o Excellent organizational skills and effective problem solving skills o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Excellent presentation skills with the expertise to develop clear and detailed plans o Ability to create and deliver presentations to management o Demonstrated capability to manage multiple activities and projects; works well under pressure o Self-motivated with problem solving and decision making skills o Strong PC skills required; experience with MS Project and SAP preferred o Ability to travel (US and international) up to 40%
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
